Directors Luncheon Meeting at the Gymnastics Association of Texas (GAT)

Sunday, September 3, 2006, 11:30am-12:45pm:
I, Greg Schram (GS), was not
able to attend the beginning of the meeting due to being off-site
speaking.
Tim Erwin (TE)
and Bill Foster (BF) were also unable to attend the beginning due to the
Life Members luncheon.
GS arrived at 11:55am.
TE & BF arrived shortly after at 12:10pm.
Meeting was called to
order by Jerit Pogue at 12:15pm

Members Not Present:
Bret Stout (BT) Webmaster (welcome to come, but not required)
Treasurer Report:
TE 10% of income from meet tax.
MS Discussion on amount of return on the money.
TE & MS to help and work together on this.
MS requests to have items for scholarships on their
own line item on the reports.
GS, BF, & TE needed to leave the meeting to prepare for
speaking seminars.
MP continued taking the minutes for GS (see below).
Fundraising:
JP Discussion about shift in typical athlete profile.
JP Plans for Poker Tournament for next year at GAT.
All Discussion of possible golf tournament weekend
of summer meeting.
All Discussion of hosting 6-Elite State Meet.
MS Will talk to potential meet director, Terry
Williams.
SS Will talk to LD Bell about facility availability
and rate.
National Scholarship Foundation:
JP News that the national office has not awarded any
scholarships.
SS Wife is graphic designer and is going to make
letterhead.
SS Discussed getting donations for Poker Tournament.
JP Motion to adjourn.
MP Second.
